Dr. Swetha has completed her MBBS from one of the prestigious Institution Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada. She did MS Ophthalmology from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada. She completed long term fellowship in medical Retina and Uvea at Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai, which is considered as one of the best eye hospitals in India.

Work experience:

1. She worked as a consultant in Retina and Uvea Dept at Visakha Eye Hospital, Vizag.
2. She worked in Retina department at the Regional Eye Hospital, Vizag and NRI Medical College, Vizag.
3. She worked as a Retina and Uvea consultant at Maxivision Eye Hospitals (Vizag).
4. She working as chief consultant at Rithika Surgical and Eye Clinic.

Academic work:

1. Efficacy of Ozurdex implant in treatment of noninfectious intermediate uveitis. Published in Indian journal of ophthalmology, December 2015 edition.
